New Product Development Manager (Automotive Parts Company)

Adecco is currently supporting one of our Automotive Part Manufacturing clients in their searching for a strategic and results-driven

New Product Development Manager

to lead end-to-end product development initiatives within the automotive/parts industry. This role will be responsible for managing product innovation, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with market needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the

end-to-end new product development lifecycle , from concept and feasibility study to launch and post-launch evaluation.

Manage project timelines, milestones, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery.

Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and technical assessments to identify new product opportunities.

Collaborate closely with engineering, production, quality, procurement, and sales teams to ensure product readiness.

Ensure all products meet

industry standards, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements .

Identify risks, resolve technical or operational challenges, and implement mitigation strategies.

Drive continuous improvement in product development processes and project execution.

Present project updates, business cases, and development progress to senior management.

Requirements

Minimum

Bachelor’s degree

from a

Top 10 university in Indonesia .

At least

5 years of experience

in product development or project management.

Strong background in

automotive or automotive parts industry

(technical knowledge is essential).

Proven expertise in

project management , including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience launching new automotive products from concept to commercialization.

Familiarity with product validation, testing standards, and manufacturing processes.

Project management certification is a plus.
