About the Client Our client is a large enterprise operating within an SAP S/4HANA environment, focused on modernization, system optimization, and Clean Core compliance. The organization is investing in high-performance SAP architecture leveraging HANA capabilities, Fiori applications, and scalable integration frameworks.

This role provides strong exposure to modern SAP development standards and enterprise-wide digital transformation programs.

Role Overview The SAP ABAP Consultant / Senior ABAP Developer will serve as the technical backbone of the SAP ecosystem. The role is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing custom SAP solutions using ABAP and ABAP on HANA.

The selected candidate will translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs while ensuring performance optimization, system stability, and alignment with Clean Core principles.

This position is ideal for technically strong ABAP professionals with experience in S/4HANA modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities End-to-End Development Design and develop custom RICEFW objects:

Reports

Interfaces

Conversions

Forms

Workflows

Deliver scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

S/4HANA & Modernization Develop and optimize:

CDS Views

AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures)

OData services for SAP Fiori applications

Apply Code Pushdown techniques to leverage HANA in-memory capabilities.

Support system conversions and brownfield/greenfield implementations.

Integration Development Build and maintain integrations using:

ALE / IDOC

RFC

BAPI

REST-based APIs and Web Services

Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting

Conduct deep-dive debugging of ABAP programs.

Perform performance tuning to reduce runtime and memory footprint.

Optimize database access and logic execution.

Technical Documentation

Prepare and maintain Technical Design Documents (TDD)

Unit Test Plans

Code review documentation

Ensure adherence to development governance standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with functional consultants (MM, SD, FI/CO, etc.).

Translate functional specifications into technical designs.

Participate in SIT and UAT support cycles.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.

5–10+ years of hands‑on ABAP development experience.

Experience in at least one S/4HANA implementation or migration project preferred.

Strong exposure to enterprise‑scale SAP environments.

Strong expertise in Adobe Forms (preferred over SmartForms/SAPScripts).

Deep understanding of Enhancement Framework: BADI, User Exits, Implicit and Explicit Enhancements

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving capability.

Ability to interpret complex functional requirements.

Clear communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia preferred).
