Manager Technical - Furniture

About the role We are seeking a highly experienced Manager Technical - Furniture to join our thriving manufacturing business, PT OTA INDONESIA. In this contract position based in Klaten, Jawa Tengah, you will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence and innovation within our furniture production operations.

What you’ll be doing

Providing strategic technical leadership to optimize furniture production processes and drive continuous improvement.

Overseeing the development and implementation of new furniture designs, technologies, and production techniques.

Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Collaborating cross‑functionally with design, engineering, and operations teams to solve complex technical challenges.

Mentoring and developing a team of technical specialists to build organizational capabilities.

Analyzing production data to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings.

Representing the technical function in senior management meetings and contributing to strategic decision‑making.

What we’re looking for

8+ years of experience in a senior technical or engineering role within the furniture manufacturing industry.

Good understanding of materials, furniture construction, and production processes.

Proven track record of delivering complex technical projects and driving continuous improvement in production operations.

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions.

Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Collaborative leadership style, with the ability to inspire and develop high‑performing teams.

Proficiency in CAD software, production management tools, and data analysis techniques.

English spoken is a must.
