About the role

Join LUME Lighting Design as an Assistant Lighting Designer based in our Jakarta office. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for supporting our team of lighting designers in creating innovative and functional lighting solutions for a range of residential, commercial and hospitality projects.

What you'll be doing Assisting the lighting design team with concept development, design calculations, and documentation

Coordinating with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements

Conducting site surveys and measurements to inform the lighting design process

Preparing lighting layouts, schedules, and technical specifications

Collaborating with the team to select appropriate lighting fixtures and technologies

Providing support during the installation and commissioning of lighting systems

Maintaining project documentation and records

What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design, or a related field

1‑3 years of experience in a lighting design or architecture role

Strong knowledge of lighting design principles, technologies, and industry standards

Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and DIALux

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
