This role involves providing excellent counselling services to guide international students to find an institution that meets their learning and career aspirations. The Education Counsellor will deliver information and advice on United Kingdom studies opportunities, local education systems, culture, and geographic region, assist with application documentation, facilitate enrolments, and promote IDP products and services.

Role Purpose The Education Counsellor will ensure a high‑quality student journey, driving pipeline goals, customer satisfaction, and advocacy targets through each stage of the student journey.

Key Accountabilities

Drive achievement of pipeline goals, customer satisfaction, and advocacy targets through each stage of the student journey.

Manage and maintain leads and successful applications, seek referral opportunities, and participate in event and lead generating activities.

Provide outstanding customer service to students, families, and education providers; build student engagement and provide clear information on admissions, processes, and options.

Required Experience

Experience in a sales or customer‐service driven environment with individual and team‑based target achievement.

Good understanding of the education sector and student placement into VET and universities, including immigration requirements and processes.

Relevant tertiary qualifications or prior experience as an Education Counsellor or similar role.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including fluency in English (verbal and written).
