Backend Developer

Backend Developer – CODE.ID Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a development team to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

Review code and ensure best practices in quality, security, and performance.

Analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions.

Design and implement scalable systems using microservices architecture.

Manage CI/CD pipelines and apply DevSecOps practices.

Collaborate with stakeholders using Agile methodologies.

Utilize AWS services such as S3 and SES.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology

3–5 years of experience as a backend developer

Strong leadership, critical thinking, and analytical skills

Proficient in code review and problem‑solving, with the ability to analyze, evaluate, and identify effective solutions

Excellent communication and influencing skills

Preferably experienced in leading teams using Agile principles and familiar with the insurance domain

Solid understanding of microservices architecture, messaging, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and AWS services (SES, S3)

Hands‑on experience with Java, Spring Boot, React Native, Angular, or ReactJS

Experience with Quarkus and Kafka is preferable

Keeps up to date with IT trends and emerging technologies

Willing to work on‑site (WFO)
