We are looking for a senior engineering professional to serve as a field engineer, contributing technical leadership to complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare discipline design, studies, calculations and associated documentation (e.g., technical specifications, scopes of work, etc.)

Manage discipline‑specific projects of various sizes from small upgrades to major capital works

Determine project scope and definition and prepare proposals for submission to clients

Prepare EPCM and capital estimates and project schedules

Provide key discipline input to multi‑discipline project teams

Provide construction and commissioning technical support

Participate in formal engineering review processes

Qualifications and Experience

A degree in engineering, approximately 5‑15 years’ experience, and eligibility to apply for CPEng status

Demonstrated capability in investigation, planning, and supervision of construction works and/or maintenance activities in operational facilities

Current knowledge of industry or regulatory standards and study criteria pertinent to electrical engineering, ensuring compliance of design work with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures

Excellent attitude towards safety and a demonstrated ability to comply with safety requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients on a technical level with engineering, maintenance and operations staff

Demonstrated design and engineering experience in one or more of the following sectors: utilities (esp. power and water), mining and metals, infrastructure and heavy industry

Design of switchboards, electrical installations and associated cabling and protection systems; and/or

Design and specification of instrumentation and control systems
