Purchasing Staff

About the role We are seeking a dedicated Purchasing Staff to join our dynamic team at PT Quality Works. As a Purchasing Staff, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement and inventory processes within our manufacturing (furniture industries). This full-time position is based in Lamongan, East Java, and will involve a range of responsibilities to support the smooth running of our business.

What you'll be doing

Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to obtain the best quality materials and equipment at competitive prices

Placing and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods

Maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking

Collaborating with production, logistics and finance teams to align procurement with business needs

Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing process improvements

Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory management

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably within the manufacturing

Strong negotiation and communication skills to build effective relationships with suppliers

Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively

Proficiency in data analysis and inventory management software

A team player with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering

Understand and be able to read CAD drawing
