Job Description

Program Coordination & Execution

Coordinate company wide Yamaha Riding Academy training programs (YSRS, SRTC, MRT) and road safety initiatives such as the annual Balik Kampung Road Safety Campaign.

Lead in planning schedules, venues, logistics, manpower, and resources for training and events.

Ensure programs are executed in accordance with approved guidelines, SOPs, and safety standards.

Plan for medium- to long‑term planning of Yamaha Riding Academy training programs, including annual program roadmaps, new course concepts, and enhancement of existing modules in line with business and CSR objectives.

Instructor Development & Capability Building

Support the development of internal Yamaha Riding Academy instructor pools, including coordination of onboarding, training schedules, assessments, and certification records.

Assist in organising train‑the‑trainer sessions and capability‑building programs for internal instructors.

Maintain accurate records of instructor qualifications, training status, and competency renewals.

Governance & Compliance

Ensure proper documentation, records, and reporting for all programs in line with ISO and audit requirements.

Support compliance with ABCMS, ethical business conduct, and conflict‑of‑interest policies.

Stakeholder & Instructor Coordination

Liaise with instructors, dealers, schools, corporate partners, and relevant government agencies.

Operational Support & Reporting

Prepare attendance records, reports, certifications, and post‑program summaries.

Support basic budget tracking, purchase requisitions, and administrative matters.

Maintain training areas, equipment, and materials.

Prepare monthly and quarterly report on riding programs for all stakeholders.

Safety, Risk & CSR Responsibility

Support implementation of safety procedures and risk controls during training and riding activities.

Ensure programs reflect Yamaha’s CSR commitment to road safety education and community engagement.

Assist in collecting feedback and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Other Duties

Perform ad‑hoc administrative or operational duties as required by management.

Support other departmental programs such as MOTO GP, Genblu, Kaizen, etc.

Job Requirements Qualification & Experience

Diploma or Certificate in any relevant field.

1–3 years of experience in program coordination, training support, events, or related roles.

Experience or strong interest in motorcycles, road safety, or training programs is an advantage.

Certificate in Defensive Riding is an advantage.

Knowledge & Skills

Basic knowledge of motorcycle riding and road safety concepts.

Good coordination, organisational, and documentation skills.

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Ability to follow SOPs and governance requirements.

Ability & Work Conditions

Physically fit and able to support outdoor activities.

Willing to work weekends, public holidays, overtime, and travel when required.

Able to work in outdoor or hot environments during programs.
