Legal Specialist / SPV (Mandarin or English Speaker)

Job Description:

Contract Management & Review

Draft, review, and revise contracts between the company and clients, suppliers, and other third parties.

Identify and mitigate potential legal risks, ensuring that contract terms comply with company interests and Indonesian laws and regulations.

Ensure the company’s investments and operations comply with relevant Indonesian laws and regulations.

Monitor legal and policy updates in a timely manner and provide recommendations to management.

Assist in establishing and improving the company’s internal compliance systems and legal risk‑control mechanisms.

Participate in handling legal disputes involving partners, suppliers, or employees, including but not limited to mediation, arbitration, and litigation.

Provide legal opinions and assist in developing dispute‑resolution strategies to minimize legal risks and financial losses.

Daily Legal Advisory Support

Provide legal consultation and training to various departments, addressing legal‑related inquiries and strengthening legal risk‑prevention awareness.

Assist coordination between the Indonesian subsidiary and the China headquarters on legal matters.

Others

Assist in maintaining relationships with local government agencies and relevant organizations, and represent the company in external legal matters when necessary.

Support other legal tasks and special assignments assigned by management.

Qualifications Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, with solid knowledge of the Indonesian legal system.

Familiar with corporate law, civil law, labor law, foreign investment regulations, and e‑commerce‑related laws.

Passing the Professional Advocate Examination (UPA) is preferred.

Work Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in legal work or law firms.

Experience working in Chinese‑funded companies in Indonesia is a plus.

Language Skills

Fluent in English and able to use it as a working language.

Chinese language skills are optional but considered an added advantage.

Skills Requirements

Strong legal analysis and risk‑identification abilities, capable of independently handling common legal matters.

Proficient in using legal databases and office software; able to effectively use AI tools to support work.

Professional Qualities

Strong professional ethics and confidentiality awareness; detail‑oriented and responsible.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills; honest, reliable, proactive, and dedicated, with a strong sense of responsibility.
