QC Engineer

PT Korosi Specindo is a manufacturer that has been expanding since 1994 to provide corrosion monitoring equipment, DBB valves, process transmitters, and services to the oil and gas industry. We are searching for applicants that embrace the challenge of occupying the position:

QC ENGINEER Responsibilities

Develop product inspection and testing plans (ITPs) based on requirements and technical specifications.

Develop and revise inspection methods (UT, LPT, MPT, PMI, Painting, Pressure Test, Ferrite Test, Visual and Dimensional Tests, etc.).

Ensure that all inspection and testing procedure documentation adhere to international standards (ASME, ASTM, etc.) and customer specifications.

Review technical documentation (procedures, drawings, and material certificates).

Work with the production, engineering, and supply chain divisions to address quality issues.

Contribute to internal and external audit efforts.

Hold technical meetings (Kick-Off/KOM, Progress Meeting) with internal teams or customers.

Encourage continual improvement in the quality management system.

Requirements

Degree in Metallurgy, Materials or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience preferred but fresh graduates are welcome.

Technical competence.

Understand international standards such as ASME, ASTM, and associated mechanical standard codes.

Able to develop and review inspection and testing methods.

Understand fundamental NDT concepts (UT, LPT, MPT, PMI).

Gain a fundamental understanding of painting inspection.

Gain a fundamental understanding of pressure testing.

Have solid English skills (spoken and written).
