Letter of Credit (LC) Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and process Letters of Credit (LCs) in compliance with company policies and local & international trade requirements.

Monitor LC documentation and ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to contractual terms.

Coordinate with banks to issue, amend, and negotiate LCs in a timely manner.

Maintain the records of LC limits, utilisation, maturity date and interest due on a regular basis.

Strictly ensure timely settlement on the due date of each LC and interest payments.

Track and maintain the record of bank charges and timely review to ensure accuracy.

Maintain good communication with relevant stakeholders such as the Trade and Transaction operation team in the banks, purchase team, accounting team etc.

Cash Management

Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow by preparing daily cashflow reports, processing daily banking transactions, including vendor payments, tax payments, customer refunds, and inter‑division transfers. Collaborate with internal teams to streamline payment processes and enhance efficiency.

Monitor the bank accounts on a daily basis, manage and optimize relationships with banking partners to facilitate smooth financial operations.

Execute FX transactions for international payments and receipts. Maintain records of FX contracts and settlements, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
