Job Description
The General Manager of Finance, Accounting & Tax is responsible for overseeing the overall financial management, accounting operations, taxation compliance, and financial control within CSJ Group.
This role ensures that all financial transactions related to
import activities, logistics operations, and international trading
are properly recorded, compliant with Indonesian regulations, and aligned with the companyโs financial strategy.
The position also plays a key role in maintaining healthy
cash flow management, financial transparency, and strong internal control systems
across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the overall financial operations of the company.
Develop and monitor
annual budgets, financial planning, and cash flow projections .
Ensure effective cash flow management, particularly for
import payments, freight costs, and overseas suppliers .
Monitor financial performance and ensure efficient use of company resources.
2. Accounting Management
Supervise accounting operations and ensure compliance with
Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) .
Oversee the preparation of
monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements .
Ensure accurate recording of transactions related to: import purchases ; freight and logistics costs ; customs clearance expenses ; inventory valuation
Manage the monthly financial closing process.
3. Tax Management
Ensure full compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, including:
Value Added Tax (VAT)
Corporate Income Tax
Withholding Taxes (PPh 21, 23, 26)
Import VAT and import duties
Manage reconciliation of
Import VAT (PPN PIB) with output VAT from sales invoices .
Implement tax planning strategies to improve tax efficiency.
Coordinate with tax consultants and manage tax audits when required.
Oversee financial documentation related to import transactions, including:
Packing lists
Bills of Lading
Ensure consistency between financial records and import documentation.
Monitor and control overall
import cost structure , including freight, customs duties, and port charges.
5. Treasury & Banking
Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
Supervise international financial transactions such as:
telegraphic transfers (TT)
letters of credit (LC)
Monitor company borrowing and banking facilities.
6. Internal Control & Compliance
Establish and maintain strong
internal control systems and financial procedures .
Oversee internal and external audit processes.
Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Identify and mitigate financial risks and potential fraud.
Prepare financial reports and performance analysis for senior management.
Provide insights regarding:
profitability
import cost efficiency
Support strategic financial decision-making for the company.
