Operations Executive (Freight Forwarding)-Jakarta The Operations Executive plays a crucial role overseeing and optimizing freight-forwarding operations, from documentation and logistics to customer service and regulatory compliance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and optimizing operational efficiency to support the success of DP World’s logistics business.

Key Accountabilities

Responsible for freight-forwarding operations and day-to-day activities including import/export handling comprising all modes of transportation (sea, air, road, train).

Prepare the full set of clearance documents required for customs clearance (eg. HBL/MBL).

Monitoring of shipment status and provide "best in class" customer experience to our Cargoes Logistics customers on all product and service offerings.

Responsible for the operational results as per agreed level of service.

Coordinating for vendor related payment for all customs clearance purposes.

Manage and provide a proactive approach to addressing customer claims, complaints, and queries, to enhance customer satisfaction, build trust, and establish a positive reputation.

Ensure compliance with local import/export regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

Tertiary qualifications with minimum 2 years’ experience in Logistics/Freight-forwarding operations.

Excellent service mindset with ability to connect with customers and extend an extra mile in resolving their issues / concerns.

Well versed with shipping processes and related services in international logistics business.

Ability to communicate with clients, carriers, other forwarders, vendors.

Effective verbal and written communications in English, Bahasa Indonesia, and interpersonal skills.

Follow the given plan and instruction all the time.

Proficiency in using MS Office and IT applications.
