Marketing Coordinator & Director of Studies
Location: Purwokerto, Central Java, Indonesia
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing both online and offline marketing activities to support the centerโs growth goals. This role oversees school visits, community events, and ATL campaigns, while also supervising content creation, social media activities, and digital ads. The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Center Director.
Key Responsibilities โ Marketing Coordinator
Strategic Planning & Coordination
Develop monthly and quarterly marketing plans and budgets.
Coordinate the execution of online, offline and ATL campaigns in alignment with strategic goals.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, target audiences, and competitors.
Offline Marketing & Events
Plan and oversee offline marketing activities such as school partnership programs and presentations.
Booth setups at malls, schools, and public events.
Regular/mini events and annual event at the center.
English 1 referral program and community engagement projects.
Ensure all materials, logistics, and staffing are prepared for smooth event execution.
ATL Campaign Management
Coordinate media placements (billboards, posters, radio, etc.) with external vendors or agencies.
Track ATL campaign timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Evaluate campaign effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.
Lead Management & Reporting
Monitor and analyse lead generation effectiveness from various channels.
Work with the sales/admissions team to ensure timely follow-up and lead conversion.
Generate regular reports on campaign performance, ROI, and areas for improvement.
Supervise and support field marketing staff during events, school visits, and lead generation activities.
Provide training, schedules, and clear guidelines for junior marketing team members.
Ensure alignment and communication across marketing, sales, and admissions departments.
The Director of Studies works alongside Safes and Service teams to support the CD in the management and development of the academic team and adherence to operational performance indicators such as production efficiency, new student conversion, staff and student retention, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities โ Director of Studies
A. Communication
Develop and maintain effective communication channels at the team, center, group and national levels.
Ensure that academic team members, the CD, PM and AOMs are all kept up to date on center academic affairs and results.
Ensure that PM and the AOM are consulted regularly about group and national programs and initiatives.
B. Supporting the Center's KPI's and Targets
Meet with CD regularly to maintain awareness of all center KPI's as well as progress toward them.
Support the sales team by ensuring that placement testing and demo classes are done when needed, and to the highest quality.
Support the service team by coordinating communication between teachers and PA's and ensuring that all necessary data is provided for Parent Communication Events.
C. Scheduling and Teacher Utility
Liaise with the CD and other supervisors to ensure the effective scheduling of classes, extra-curricular activities and events in accordance with English 1 guidelines and with the center's KPI's on utility, group size and capacity in mind.
D. Teacher Development
Train and induct teachers in operational procedures and English 1 company products.
Encourage, facilitate and participate in the professional development of teachers. Teacher development must include observation, training and support, and evaluation and assessment.
