Project Controller Job Description
Position Overview: The Construction Project Controller will be integral in overseeing the financial and schedule management of construction projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage project timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in construction project management, with a focus on ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
The candidate will be based in Bali, Indonesia
Key responsibilities
Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring financial resources are allocated efficiently and expenses are controlled.
Timeline Management: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with project managers to ensure timely completion of project milestones and deliverables.
Forecasting: Prepare and update financial and timeline forecasts, offering insights into potential impacts on project performance.
Document Control: Work closely with Project Manager and Civil Engineer in ensuring all required drawings, details, material specifications are provided and available.
Cost and Schedule Analysis: Perform regular cost and schedule analysis, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Financial Reporting: Generate and present comprehensive financial reports and progress updates to stakeholders, including cost reports, timeline updates, and performance metrics.
Contract Administration: Review and manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes, ensuring compliance with project requirements and deadlines.
Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor adherence to financial and schedule policies, Identify risks related to timelines and budgets, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Collaboration: Work closely with clients, project managers, engineers, and other team members to synchronize financial and timeline objectives with project goals.
Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues related to project timelines and budgets, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
Site Inspection & Supervising: Work closely with Civil Engineers, Project Managers, and site supervisor, and conduct in field site check to ensure project timeline is met
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of experience in construction project control, including experience with project timeline management
Skills: PProficiency in AUTOCAD, SKETCHUP, MS OFFICE and MS Project project management Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge: Thorough understanding of construction processes, cost management, and scheduling techniques.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and report to various stakeholders.
Travel: Able to work in Bali & Jakarta
