Centralized Product Development Associate

Support the R&D team in developing new food products, improving existing recipes, and ensuring processes run according to food safety standards while being cost‑efficient. The role focuses on assisting trials, recording data, and coordinating across teams to support production scale‑up. Key Responsibilities

Research & Product Development

Assist in developing new recipes and improving existing ones for better efficiency and scalability. Conduct small‑scale (lab/kitchen) trials and record key parameters (time, temperature, Support shelf‑life testing and sensory evaluation panels for product quality assessment. Research new ingredients, preservation methods, and food trends. Costing & Feasibility Study

Calculate estimated food cost per ingredient to support feasibility analysis. Assist in comparing planned costs with actual results from trials. Provide supporting data on yield, waste, and trial efficiency. Implementation & Work Instruction Development

Assist in drafting Work Instructions (WI) and basic SOPs related to recipes and production processes. Support training sessions for kitchen/production teams in applying new recipes and standards. Maintain proper documentation of all trials (formulation, test results, panel evaluations, improvement notes). Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Culinary, or related field. 1–2 years of experience in food R&D;, QA/QC, or food production (F&B;, fast food, or food manufacturing). Basic knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and shelf‑life testing. Familiarity with COGS calculation, basic costing, and raw material analysis. Ability to prepare reports, trial documentation, and assist in SOP preparation. Strong communication skills, detail‑oriented, and able to collaborate with cross‑functional teams (chefs, QC, procurement, operations). Proficiency in Excel/ERP systems (basic level) for costing and trial data analysis. Seniority level
