Job Description
We are seeking a proactive Payroll Specialist who not only manages end-to-end payroll but also drives payroll system improvements and process excellence. This role will play a key part in strengthening payroll governance, automation, and compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage accurate and timely monthly payroll processing
Review and enhance payroll workflows, controls, and SOPs
Lead or support payroll system implementation and automation initiatives
Ensure full compliance with PPh21 and BPJS regulations
Analyze payroll data and provide insights to HR and Finance
Partner with HR, Finance, and external vendors to improve payroll efficiency
Prepare payroll reports and support audits
Act as the go-to expert for complex payroll matters
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field
4-7 years of payroll experience with exposure to process improvement or system implementation
Strong knowledge of Indonesian payroll regulations (PPh21 & BPJS)
Hands‑on experience with HRIS/payroll systems and strong Excel skills
Proven ability to build or improve payroll processes/SOPs
High attention to detail with strong problem‑solving skills
Nice to Have
Experience in finance/leasing or multinational environment
Experience in payroll automation or digital transformation projects
Basic Mandarin is a plus
