Job Purpose The role holder is responsible for growing business and enhance its market presence through expansion of its existing portfolio of products and solutions, across geographies. The role holder is also responsible for representing in various forums and events to ensure positive brand image and for guiding the development of strategies to ensure best-in-class customer service delivery. The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities Strategic Responsibilities Shapes the development of the organization strategy and oversees the overall process of management and corporate decision making. Establishes the business direction for the organization and leads the development of strategy for reporting entities, in line with stated organizational priorities. Partners with Finance to formulate the annual budget for the organization and reporting entities in conjunction with the organization budget, secures subsequent approvals and ensures adherence. Leads financial performance tracking against budget and drives the business to capitalize upon potential performance improvement opportunities, meet anticipated cost/revenue estimates and manage areas of unsatisfactory performance. Defines the operating framework for the organization, provides leadership and oversees work processes in order to achieve high performance standards and ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures and quality standards. Oversees and directs the development and implementation of functional policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering quality, cost-effective services in a consistent manner. Core Responsibilities Lobbies and seeks approval from the Board of Directors on long-term strategic plans for developing new revenue streams and management of existing revenue streams efficiently. Influences the Board of Directors for adopting necessary course of actions for further market penetration and expansion into new markets. Leads the relationship management including interactions and communication with local partners to pave the way for their continued support towards building industry dominance. Shapes the overall operational strategy with a view to maximize its short, medium and long-term profitability and returns. Oversees alignment between sales, revenue, market share and profitability measures to ensure achievement of business objectives in association with General Managers and Functional Heads. Assesses organizational performance reports and market positioning to determine the course of action to be taken for addressing variations from the plan and improve the market positioning. Guides the prioritization of projects and initiatives from a strategic point of view, in compliance with short and long-term strategy, when required. Oversees the collaboration to ensure optimal utilization of resources and technology to effectively deliver on the strategic agenda. Establishes and maintains relations with legislators, regulatory authorities and government officials to ensure sustainable business operations. Establishes the importance of customer management and customer centricity, and guides the development and implementation of customer retention programs. Oversees the governance and compliance with various statutory parties, both internally and externally, to ensure operates as per the defined governance and statutory requirements. Drives the culture of sharing best practices to improve productivity, maximize organizational effectiveness. Oversees the creation of innovative strategies and ensures their successful and timely implementation to facilitate competitive advantage in the market. Guides various customer experience improvement initiatives to enhance overall impact and ensures best in class service delivery across all customer touch points. Spearheads marketing initiatives and enforces an operating model to ensure high brand awareness and top of mind recall products and services. Serves as a lead representative across various forums, seminars and events to ensure its positive positioning within vertical transportation community. Ensures adequate levels of employee engagement are maintained as the employer of choice. Stays abreast with current technology trends in the elevator and escalator industry, anticipates and reacts to major technological changes, adapting plans and initiatives to ensure leadership in the competitive landscape. People Management Develops and nurtures a continuous talent pipeline for key roles in the organization and provides mentoring for leadership talent pool. Defines and facilitates the achievement of goals and key performance indicators for direct reports and ensures effective implementation of the performance management process in the organization. Nurtures talent within the organization by providing ongoing feedback, coaching and development opportunities to individuals to enable achievement of their defined goals.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Management / Engineering or equivalent Master’s degree in Business Management / Engineering is preferred Professional Certifications Relevant certification such as Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Construction Project Management (CPM) or equivalent is preferred Years of Experience Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in managing operations in a construction/engineering organization Nature of Experience At least 10 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities Language Skills Fluent written and spoken English preferred
