About the role As a Purchasing Specialist at PT Transisi Mobile Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in the company's supply chain operations. Joining our full-time team in Jakarta, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and services to support the company's manufacturing and logistics needs.

What you'll be doing

Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers to ensure the best quality, pricing, and delivery of materials and services

Negotiating contracts and purchase orders with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions

Monitoring supplier performance and maintaining positive relationships to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and source the necessary materials and services

Maintaining accurate inventory records and forecasting future purchasing needs

Implementing and adhering to the company's procurement policies and procedures

Providing regular reports and insights to management on purchasing activities and trends

What we're looking for

Demonstrable experience as a Purchasing Specialist or Procurement Officer, ideally within the manufacturing or logistics industries

Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimise the procurement process

Proficiency in using procurement software and tools to manage supplier relationships and track purchasing activities

A detail‑oriented approach and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
