We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team to provide project financial support to our Jakarta business, including the timely and accurate set-up of projects, raising of bills to clients and receipt of payment from clients.

This is a great opportunity to join a close-knit team of experienced finance professionals across Jakarta & Australia and help our team continually make a difference to our award winning engineering consultancy.

What will the day-to-day look like in the role?

Reviewing and ensuring the accurate set-up of allocated projects on our Synergy platform.

Managing the billing cycle for allocated project directors and external clients, including accounts receivable management (including BAST & stamp duty).

Process Accounts Monthly Credit Card, and Petty Cash Reconciliation, Payable invoices and upload into Banking system.

Provide professional and superior customer service to clients (internal and external), including ensuring clients’ needs are met in accordance with billing requirements.

Provide accurate and efficient analysis, reconciliations, and reporting as required by clients (internal and external).

Maintain the accuracy of the TTW Invoicing App and job cost database regarding billing, accounts receivable, and work in progress.

Review allocated project timelines / Deferred income to ensure the month end / Deferred income is fairly stated.

Support external auditing during final year.

Provide administrative support to the finance team and coordinate with other internal departments.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor degree in Accounting or related discipline (Required).

CPA/CA qualification would be highly regarded, however it is not essential.

At least 2-3 years working experience in a similar role.

Strong English language skills, both written and verbal.

Understanding and working knowledge of Indonesian accounting principles and regulations.

Excellent communication skills both to internal and external clients.

Exceptional attention to detail and efficiency.

A proactive and problem‑solving mindset and attitude is highly regarded.
