Sales Manager in Golf or Hospitality Industry
Your work location will be at International Financial Centre (IFC),Jl. Jenderal Sudirman No. Kav. 22-23, Karet, Kuningan, Jakarta Selatan 12920. But, this position requires mobility to our Golf Club in Bintan Island and to outside Jakarta.
Position Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth for the golf club by developing strategic sales initiatives, acquiring new business, and expanding existing accounts. This role focuses on selling memberships, corporate packages, golf events, tournaments, F&B events, and other hospitality services. The Sales Manager works closely with operations, marketing, and guest relations teams to deliver exceptional experiences and maintain the club’s premium standards.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities including corporate partnerships, group bookings, tournaments, and event sales.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through active prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
Conduct sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and prepare customized proposals for individual and corporate clients.
Client Relationship Management
Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with members, corporate clients, event planners, and golf associations.
Provide professional client consultations to ensure product alignment with customer needs (e.g., membership tiers, corporate golf days, hospitality packages).
Handle client inquiries promptly to ensure a premium customer experience.
Ensure post‑event or post‑sale follow‑ups to secure repeat business and referrals.
Membership Growth & Retention
Promote club membership offerings through targeted campaigns and personalized engagement.
Conduct membership tours, briefings, and onboarding sessions for prospective members.
Work with the membership services team to monitor satisfaction, retention rates, and feedback.
Collaborate with the golf operations and events team to design attractive packages for tournaments, banquets, and special events.
Oversee client requirements throughout the event cycle to ensure smooth execution.
Identify opportunities to enhance package offerings based on market trends and customer feedback.
Coordinate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, digital campaigns, and sales tools.
Participate in branding initiatives, open houses, and promotional events to increase visibility and engagement.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to refine sales tactics.
Reporting & Administrative Responsibilities
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline analyses for management review.
Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and ensure all client interactions are documented.
Manage budgets and ensure cost‑effective execution of sales programs.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in hospitality, golf, resort, or club sales.
Strong understanding of golf operations, membership structures, and event sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Passion for golf or familiarity with golf culture is highly preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or event days.
