Strategic Accounts Manager – GE HealthCare
Indonesia is a key market in the ASEAN region. Growth in Indonesia is critical for the overall success of the GE Healthcare business. This position holder will focus on increasing GEHC’s share of wallet in assigned strategic accounts located in Indonesia.
Job Description Summary
This role is responsible for the long‑term success of GEHC’s relationships with strategic accounts in Indonesia by enabling the achievement of mutually identified goals. The holder builds strong relationships with account stakeholders, understands their needs and outcomes, and positions GEHC’s innovative solutions portfolio to drive customer success. Account strategies and execution drive orders/sales growth by securing large, strategic cross‑P&L customer purchases.

Key Responsibilities / Essential Functions (but not limited to)
Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts and develop into trusted advisor and customer advocate for key account stakeholders and executive sponsors.
Develop and maintain customer mapping, including next‑generation leadership, internal relationship dynamics, and the customer’s competitive landscape.
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs and understand drivers of the need including vision, mission, and financial objectives on an ongoing basis.
Drive a joint ‘company – strategic account customer’ planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one‑ and three‑year period that truly addresses the account’s vision and creates new business opportunities for GEHC.
Collaborate with internal GEHC stakeholders—including the strategic accounts solutions architect, ASEAN Strategic Accounts Director, and regional/global product, service, and digital teams—to address customer needs.
Act as the primary customer point of contact, represent One GE Healthcare across multimodality projects, cross‑P&L business events, and hold accountability for issue resolution in selected strategic accounts.
Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
Manage multiple projects and communicate progress updates to GE and customer leadership on a monthly/quarterly basis.
Provide ongoing feedback to management, product, services, and marketing teams.
Create business plans with both short‑ and long‑term phases that address the account’s vision and mission.
Analyze accounts to develop a business plan and strategy that creates new business opportunities for all GE Healthcare products and services.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in business management or sales/marketing, or equivalent progressive leadership experience.
Fluent in English communication.
Demonstrated business management and resource allocation skills, including business plan development.
Experience structuring and closing large and complex strategic deals and handling C‑suite customers.
Strong coordination, commercial, influencing, and advanced negotiation skills.
Strong business acumen with financial and organizational skills.
High‑level presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate and present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact and builds effective strategic relationships.
Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport, collaboration, and influence at all levels within an organization; act as an inspirational leader with optimism, approachability, and humility.
Ability to operate effectively in a multi‑tasking, dynamic environment while maintaining a forward‑thinking and customer‑first attitude.
Desired Qualifications
In‑depth knowledge of the healthcare market, key players, and customers in Indonesia.
Knowledge of healthcare disease solutions and the products and services offered.
Knowledge of hospital management is a plus.
