Project & Packaging Engineer

About the role PT. Formosa Ingredient Factory Tbk is currently seeking a dynamic and solution-oriented Project & Packaging Engineer to join our team and lead innovation in our product packaging solutions. What You'll Be Doing As a Project & Packaging Engineer, your role is crucial to our product lifecycle. You will:

Design, develop, and optimize product packaging designs and related machinery.

Coordinate closely with other teams (production, distribution, marketing) to ensure packaging solutions are functional, cost-effective, and safe throughout production and distribution.

Ensure all designs and processes comply with applicable industry standards and regulations.

Keep up with technology and sustainability trends to drive continuous innovation.

What We're Looking For We invite candidates who meet the following criteria:

Education:

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

1-3 years of proven work experience in packaging product development or machinery development.

Industry Preference:

Preferred experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), food packaging, or industrial packaging sectors Food & Beverage.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of sustainability trends in materials, machinery, and packaging design.

Soft Skills:

Strong capabilities in problem-solving, communication, team leadership, and project management.

Language:

Must be proficient in active English. The ability to speak Mandarin is a significant advantage.
