About the role
We're seeking a sharp, detail‑oriented
Corporate Accountant
to strengthen the integrity and timeliness of Liven’s financial and management reporting. This role is pivotal in building the foundational finance processes that ensure internal clarity and external compliance across our growing, multi‑entity, and multi‑region structure.
As a key contributor in a lean and high‑performance team, you’ll take ownership of financial reporting cycles, lead reconciliations, support audits and tax compliance, and play a critical role in integrating newly acquired entities. This is a hands‑on, high‑impact opportunity to shape and elevate our finance operations during a transformative growth phase.
What you’ll do
Lead monthly
balance sheet reconciliations , including insightful variance analysis and clearly articulated commentary.
Develop and maintain robust
workpapers
for consolidated group financial reporting across multiple entities and regions.
Partner with external accountants and advisors to support
statutory and compliance reporting , covering local GAAP, audit, and tax requirements.
Assist in delivering timely, complete, and accurate
monthly management reports
aligned with operational performance metrics.
Support the smooth
integration of acquired entities
into Liven’s financial systems and reporting frameworks.
Proactively identify and drive
process improvements , with a focus on automation and efficiency across financial close activities.
Uphold strong
internal controls
and help develop and document
finance SOPs
that scale with the business.
Qualifications
CA or CPA qualification
with 5–7 years’ experience in corporate or industry finance, ideally within a high‑growth, multi‑entity, or fast‑paced environment.
Strong grasp of
Accounting Standards
(AASB & IFRS), particularly in
Revenue Recognition
and
Consolidated Financial Statements .
Demonstrated ability to manage
complex reconciliations and variance analysis
with limited supervision.
Experience liaising with
auditors, tax agents , and other external financial stakeholders.
Solid command of
Excel/Google Sheets
and hands‑on experience with accounting and
ERP systems
— NetSuite fluency is a major advantage.
Proven experience in
group consolidation
and
multi‑currency accounting .
Comfortable operating in
SaaS, tech, or startup
environments; thrives in lean, hands‑on teams.
Strong
analytical skills , commercial acumen, and a proactive mindset.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders across finance, operations, and leadership.
Interest in using
AI tools
and a passion for applying modern technology to streamline work.
Good to Have
Experience working in a
private equity‑backed
or venture capital‑funded business.
Familiarity with
hospitality, payments, or fintech sectors
and their financial nuances.
Exposure to
IPO readiness
or involvement in
finance transformation projects .
Experience with
NetSuite customizations , integrations, or reporting tools like
SuiteAnalytics .
Working knowledge of
business intelligence tools
(e.g., Looker, Tableau) for financial insights and reporting.
Understanding of
transfer pricing, intercompany transactions , and global tax implications.
Comfort with
cross‑functional collaboration , especially with Product, Strategy, and Operations teams.
Interest in
emerging finance tech and automation tools , including AI‑powered accounting platforms.
Exposure to
ESG reporting
or sustainable finance frameworks.
