We’re looking for Basque language specialists who live and breathe Basque grammar, syntax, morphology, spelling, phonology, and pragmatics. You’ll challenge advanced language models on topics such as ergativity, verb conjugation, noun declension, sentence structure, dialectal variation, formal and informal speech, and the nuances of the Basque writing system—documenting every failure mode so we can harden model reasoning.

Key Responsibilities

On a typical day, converse with the model on language scenarios.

Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness.

Capture reproducible error traces.

Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

Qualifications

Master’s or PhD in Basque language, linguistics, or a closely related field.

Peer‑reviewed publications, teaching experience, or hands‑on linguistic analysis projects signal fit.

Clear, metacognitive communication—“showing your work”—is essential.

Benefits & Compensation Pay range: $8 to $65 per hour, determined after evaluating your experience, expertise, and geographic location.
