About the Role
The VIP and Institutional Sales role is responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing relationships with VIP and institutional clients. This role focuses on driving trading volume, strengthening long-term client relationships, and delivering premium, data-driven engagement while ensuring high service quality and responsiveness.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition (VIP & Institutional)
Identify, prospect, and acquire new VIP and institutional clients through targeted sales initiatives.
Manage the onboarding process to ensure a smooth and compliant client experience.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline for high-value and institutional clients.
Collaborate with Marketing and Partnerships to support VIP and institutional acquisition campaigns.
Relationship Management & Retention
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with assigned VIP and institutional clients.
Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring high-touch, responsive, and professional service.
Proactively identify client needs, trading behavior, and retention risks, and execute engagement strategies.
Handle escalations and complex client issues in coordination with internal teams.
Trading Volume & Engagement Growth
Drive increased trading volume, liquidity, and user activity from VIP and institutional clients.
Implement data-driven client segmentation and personalized engagement strategies.
Promote relevant products, features, campaigns, and market insights to clients.
Support exclusive VIP and institutional programs, incentives, and events.
Service Quality & Operational Excellence
Ensure fast response times and premium service standards across all client interactions.
Coordinate closely with Operations, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Support teams to resolve issues effectively.
Continuously improve sales and service processes to enhance client experience.
Data Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, pipelines, and performance in systems.
Prepare regular reports on sales performance, client engagement, and trading metrics.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in VIP sales, institutional sales, business development, or relationship management.
Proven experience handling HNW, VIP, or institutional clients.
Experience in crypto, fintech, capital markets, or financial services is highly preferred.
