When you work in Freight Logistics and Operations at Kuehne+Nagel, you play a key role in optimising processes and ensuring that inventory and shipments move efficiently. Your work also helps ensure that vital medicines reach patients on time and supports other essential deliveries, from wind turbines to semiconductors.

How you create impact

Ensure compliance with financial and revenue care guidelines.

Conduct regular conversations with direct reports to discuss performance and development goals.

Routinely perform audits on closed files, documenting and escalating any issues as required.

Systematically review and reduce the minimum provision for bad debts and write-offs.

Analyze country profit and loss sheets, customer profitability, and identify gaps vs. financial targets, focusing on the bottom ten accounts.

Identify root causes of issues and propose corrective actions to drive gross profit improvement plans.

Conduct daily and weekly stand‑up meetings with the team to identify and resolve business issues.

Ensure the accuracy and consistency of all operational finance data throughout its life cycle.

What we would like you to bring

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: 5–7 years in Sea Logistics operations, revenue care, finance governance, or freight forwarding.

At least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Strong exposure to billing accuracy, GP variance analysis, or operational finance.

Understanding of Sea Logistics processes.

Proficiency in relevant KN systems.

Strong analytical skills with solid knowledge of P&L and cost structures.

Ability to identify financial risks and margin leakage trends.
