Job Description

Instrument & Automation Preventive Maintenance Supevisor Bachelor’s Degree in

Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics Engineering , or a related field.

Minimum

5 years of experience

in Instrumentation & Automation, preferably within a

sugar refinery, food processing, or manufacturing environment .

In-depth knowledge of instrumentation and automation technologies, including

PLC and industrial automation systems .

Strong expertise in

instrument calibration , including internal verification and coordination of external calibration services.

Proficient in utilizing

Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)

for preventive maintenance planning, work order management, and reporting.

Proven ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a team of maintenance technicians

to ensure equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

to identify root causes and resolve complex technical issues effectively.

Excellent communication, coordination, and team management skills.

Responsibilities

Responsible for planning and scheduling daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and shutdown maintenance activities for Instrument & Automation systems.

Develop annual external calibration and internal verification schedules for approval by the supervisor.

Ensure all calibration and internal verification documents are properly maintained, organized, and systematically filed for traceability and audit purposes.

Supervise and ensure maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the approved maintenance plan and schedule.

Facilitate technical expertise related to instrument equipment and provide technical guidance to enhance Instrument & Automation maintenance activities.

Manage a team of technicians to execute planned maintenance activities and respond to ad-hoc maintenance requests.

Liaise with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to align maintenance activities with production schedules.

Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance data.

Analyse maintenance data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
