Otis is growing and we are recruiting a Service Sales Associate. This role helps achieve sales growth through three main areas of responsibility: maintaining an existing portfolio, obtaining new business, and as required selling modernization and repairs.
**On a typical day you will:*** Manage a portfolio of elevator units through maintaining good working relationships with existing customers* Serve as primary contact for timely resolution of customer needs surrounding inquiries* Develop build-on repair and modernization sales through networking, bids and tenders* Develop your own sales strategy to achieve sales targets, ensuring profitability* Use Otis’ sales tools to effectively track opportunities, pipeline, and forecast sales results* Conduct sales negotiations and close deals, ensuring payment on time* Collaborate with fellow team members, including other sales representatives and field colleagues**What you will need to be successful*** You have a business or technical degree or have completed training as a technician or business administrator* You have initial experience in the sale of technical products requiring consultation* You have a strong customer and service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills* You are characterized by a high level of commitment and reliability, with a drive to deliver results* You are target focused, with the ability to work at pace in a demanding, complex, corporate organization**What’s In it For Me / Benefits*** You will receive a long-term employment contract with the world market leader in a crisis-proof industry.* We offer you remuneration in accordance with local requirements.We will train you intensively in the areas of technology, processes & soft skills and you can exchange ideas with experienced colleagues at any time.
