A leading life insurer is hiring an experienced
Accounting Operations professional
on a
6-month contract
to support day-to-day Business-As-Usual (BAU) accounting activities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on operational accounting, journal processing, and ensuring financial accuracy in a fast-paced insurance environment.
Responsibilities
Handle and review daily journal entries from multiple source systems
Prepare manual journal entries (debit/credit, COA mapping, amounts, supporting schedules)
Support investment accounting processes, including Excel-based data transformation into accounting entries
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Ensure accurate and timely posting to the General Ledger
Support month-end closing and reporting activities
Maintain strong financial controls and documentation standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
3–6+ years of operational/BAU accounting experience
Strong double-entry accounting fundamentals
Experience in journal preparation, reconciliations, and GL processes
Insurance industry experience preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and time management
6-month contract
On-site role in Indonesia
Daily rate up to USD 250
Immediate / February start preferred
