We are seeking an experienced

Electrical Engineering Lead

to oversee the design, development, and execution of electrical systems for ESSA’s

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

project. This role ensures all electrical systems are designed and implemented safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with international standards throughout Technology Selection, FEED, EPC, and commissioning phases.

Reporting: Electrical Manager

Location: ESM Head Office, Jakarta Selatan & Site Plant

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 12 years’ experience in oil & gas or petrochemical projects, with at least 5 years in a lead electrical role.

Strong technical knowledge of power systems, electrical safety, and hazardous area classification.

Skilled in design tools such as ETAP and familiar with CMMS (e.g., Maximo).

Experience developing and reviewing SLDs, cable sizing, load lists, and datasheets.

Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, PLN, SMK3, and ISO 14001 standards.

Proven leadership, decision‑making, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in EPC ITB and tender evaluation preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Lead electrical design and development from FEED to commissioning.

Review electrical deliverables including SLDs, load lists, and equipment specs.

Represent ESSA in technical reviews, FATs, and HAZOPs.

Coordinate with EPCs, licensors, and authorities for compliance and execution.

Ensure energy‑efficient, reliable, and maintainable system designs.

Support installation, pre‑commissioning, and start‑up activities.

Guide and develop junior engineers and local electrical teams.

Ensure adherence to SMK3, environmental, and safety regulations.
