The Cluster role to be defined for Conrad Bali, Hilton Bandung, HGI Bali Nusa Dua – Jakarta Sales Office supports the overall strategic management of the hotel by establishing effective working relationships with senior colleagues, in particular the General Manager, Director of Operations, Director of Finance and Director of Human Resources. This role will provide support and advice to the General Manager in strategic planning and overall business goals relating to Business Development issues of the brand and the hotel as well as maintain the corporate standards, brand integrity and hotel image.
What will I be doing?
As the Cluster Sales Manager for Conrad Bali & HGI Bali Nusa Dua – Jakarta Sales Office, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Daily sales calls to all market segments in Jakarta such as Embassy, Government, Corporate Companies (Banking, Consumer Goods, Pharmacy, Advertising, Oil, Consultant, etc.), Travel Agent, PCO/EO, etc. to capture potential MICE business.
Occasional sales calls to expand new potential business.
Maintain good relationships with existing accounts and keep updating newest packages and special promos.
Assist the Reactive Team to chase and follow up existing MICE leads.
Respond to all inquiries at Jakarta Sales Office for both FIT & MICE.
Work closely with the Sales Manager (Domestic) in Bali to collaborate with key wholesalers and consortium agents to boost FIT bookings and stimulate the market.
Collaborate with the Sales Manager in Bali to work with Banking Companies, Golf Courses, Malls to create joint promos for greater exposure.
Monitor collateral and gift items for Jakarta Sales Office stock.
Submit weekly sales call reports to DOS.
Submit JSO monthly expense reports to Accounting.
Participate in special sales‑related projects as directed by DOS.
Occasionally conduct hotel presentations to Travel Agents in cooperation with wholesalers.
What are we looking for?
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
Solid experience and strong market knowledge in two to three of the following industry verticals: information technology & telecommunications, consulting firms, quality assurance, agriculture & chemicals, advertising & media, as well as travel agencies, event organizers, DMCs and PCOs.
Bachelor’s Degree. International hotel chain experience is preferable.
Good English reading and writing skills to meet business needs.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work under strong pressure.
Understanding of local customers and strong market analysis ability.
Existing customer resources.
