ABOUT JOB:
The Commissioning Manager
will lead, manage, and execute the complete Commissioning (Cx) program for a
large‑scale data center construction project in Jakarta . This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, testing, reporting, and delivering all MEP and mission‑critical systems to achieve full operational readiness, including Pre‑functional tests, Functional tests, Integrated Systems Testing (IST), and final turnover.
You will work closely with design, construction, QA/QC, and operations teams to verify installation readiness, ensure compliance with international data center standards, manage commissioning subcontractors, and drive the facility toward Tier‑level performance and reliable start‑up.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Commissioning Management & Leadership
Develop and manage the overall Commissioning Plan, schedule, and commissioning matrix.
Lead all commissioning phases (FAT, SAT, PFT, FT, IST) for critical systems.
Coordinate technical readiness with design, construction, and QA/QC teams.
Oversee commissioning subcontractors, ensuring timely execution and documentation.
2. Testing & Systems Verification
Manage testing for electrical systems: UPS, batteries, STS/ATS, MV/LV switchgear, gensets.
Manage testing for mechanical systems: chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, pumps, cooling towers.
Review and approve test scripts, method statements, and equipment submittals.
Lead IST including failover scenarios, redundancy validation, load bank testing, and black‑building tests.
3. Coordination & Compliance
Ensure commissioning activities comply with data center standards (Uptime Institute Tier II/III/IV, ASHRAE, IEC/IEEE, NFPA).
Coordinate tightly with BMS/EMS, ELV, security, fire protection, and controls teams for integrated testing.
Identify risks and blockers; escalate and resolve commissioning issues promptly.
4. Documentation & Handover
Manage all commissioning documentation: checklists, test sheets, reports, redlines, as‑builts.
Prepare the final Commissioning Report and deliver handover package to Operations.
Support early operations stabilization and performance monitoring post‑handover.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
8 –12+ years of commissioning experience in data centers or mission‑critical facilities.
Strong hands‑on experience with IST, redundancy testing, electrical & mechanical functional tests.
Deep understanding of critical power & cooling systems and reliability design.
Experience working with Uptime Tier standards (II/III/IV) strongly preferred.
Proven ability to lead subcontractors and coordinate cross‑functional technical teams.
Excellent communication skills for working with multinational consultants, clients, and vendors.
Have experience in CxAlloy (or similar Cx management platforms), AutoCAD/Revit, BIM 360, MS Project or Primavera P6, TAB/controls testing tools, and familiarity with BMS/EMS/BAS monitoring platforms.
