Overview

This role carries global responsibility for supporting the design, configuration, deployment, and business adoption of an Advanced Planning System (APS) within a complex supply chain network. The successful candidate will lead the implementation and functional alignment of Blue Yonder planning capabilities across supply planning processes, ensuring consistency between operational business requirements and system functionality. This includes oversight of integrations with enterprise planning platforms and master data environments. In addition, the role will contribute to the long term planning systems roadmap in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders. The position requires demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise scale planning system initiatives within industry environments and will report into the relevant Planning Programme Leadership function.

Tasks and Responsibilities Partner with business process stakeholders and technical teams to support planning system deployment initiatives. Translate operational supply planning processes into system driven solutions through requirements mapping and design workshops. Convert business needs into APS functional configurations aligned with established best practices. Define and validate supply planning parameters including configuration rules, heuristics, and optimisation logic. Ensure appropriate integration points across ERP, demand planning, manufacturing, and logistics platforms. Oversee build, testing, and deployment phases across planning modules including proof of concept and wider rollout activities. Coordinate with internal technology teams and third party partners to ensure effective system performance and data interfacing. Support organisational adoption through training materials and stakeholder enablement activities. Act as a subject matter expert for APS planning capabilities and associated processes. Monitor system utilisation, identify improvement opportunities, and support enhancement initiatives aligned with evolving business requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong expertise across supply planning disciplines including inventory optimisation, production planning, and scenario modelling. In depth knowledge of Blue Yonder APS functionality and integration with enterprise data platforms. Strong analytical and problem solving capability with the ability to map complex process and data dependencies. Experience documenting business requirements and validating system design outputs. Understanding of planning data governance principles, master data structures, and system interfacing. Ability to engage effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders. Experience facilitating workshops and user enablement sessions.

Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related discipline. Postgraduate qualification preferred. Approximately 8 to 10 years of experience in supply chain planning environments with exposure to advanced planning systems. Hands on experience implementing Blue Yonder APS solutions. Proven experience delivering planning system implementation or transformation programmes. Experience working within cross functional delivery environments. Demonstrated ability to translate operational requirements into system driven solutions.
