About the role This role is responsible for assisting with the development and continuous improvement of preventative maintenance schedules and documentation for the Thiess Group globally. The role demonstrates a strong understanding of whole-of-life asset strategies and applies this knowledge to provide effective strategic planning support.

In this role, you will:

Work collaboratively with the Maintenance Strategy & Support team to improve maintenance strategies and supporting documentation

Work collaboratively with onshore planning teams to provide proactive, high-quality support

Review and assess strategy change requests holistically, prioritising standardisation and consistency without compromising safety or cost

Analyse completed service documentation to identify opportunities for improvement

Review service bills of materials to improve tool time and reduce wastage.

Promote the effective and consistent use of the JDE maintenance system to ensure accurate and reliable maintenance records across the business

Contribute to the ongoing digitalisation of maintenance processes across the group

Identify opportunities to improve the quality and efficiency of maintenance work through enhanced planning practices and new technologies

Follow the Thiess Change Management Process for all proposed changes to Asset Strategies & or Design Registrations

About you

Experience in maintenance operations with large mining equipment

Experience in maintenance activities for large mining equipment

Proficient in MS Office suite

Competent in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (e.g. JDE)

Knowledge of contract management, including subcontractors
