Primary Responsibilities (Job Description)

Strategic Communication Bridge:

Serve as a direct and independent link between shipboard personnel and Top Management, ensuring all safety and pollution prevention concerns are addressed at the highest level. SMS Implementation & Oversight:

Oversee and ensure the effective implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) across all operational units, ensuring strict adherence to

ISM Code

and

ISPS Code

standards. Monitoring & Compliance:

Execute routine verifications, internal audits, and technical inspections to maintain rigorous occupational safety standards and environmental pollution prevention policies. Stakeholder Coordination:

Act as the official company representative in liaising with Port State Control (PSC), Classification Societies (BKI/IACS), and relevant government agencies regarding regulatory and security matters. Risk Management & Operational Support:

Ensure every vessel is equipped with adequate resources and technical shore-based support to mitigate operational risks at sea. Professional Qualifications (Requirements)

Mandatory Certification:

Must hold a valid

Designated Person Ashore (DPA)

training certificate in accordance with IMO circulars. Regulatory Expertise:

Comprehensive knowledge of national and international maritime regulations, including

SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code,

and

ISPS Code . Management Standards:

Proficient in Integrated Management Systems, specifically

ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environment), and ISO 45001 (OH&S). Proven Experience:

Demonstrated track record as a Designated Person Ashore (DPA) within the maritime industry. Operational Background:

Prior experience sailing as a Senior Officer ( Master or Chief Engineer ) on diverse vessel types—such as

Bulk Carriers, Tankers, and Tug & Barge —is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage. Analytical Skills:

Strong capability in risk assessment, incident investigation, and professional technical reporting. Language Proficiency:

Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Indonesian for international coordination. What's your expected monthly basic salary?
