MEP Manager (Data Center)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly technical MEP Manager to lead the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) workstreams for a high-scale Data Center project in Jakarta. The ideal candidate will ensure that complex power and cooling systems are delivered on time, within budget, and to international uptime standards. Responsibilities

Project Oversight: Manage the end-to-end MEP lifecycle, from design review and procurement to installation, testing, and commissioning (T&C). Technical Coordination: Resolve complex technical interfaces between Electrical (HV/MV/LV, UPS, genset), Mechanical (Chiller, CRAC/CRAH), Fire Protection, and BMS/EPMS systems. Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Lead and supervise MEP subcontractors and equipment vendors to ensure site works align with the master schedule and technical specifications. Quality & Compliance: Ensure all MEP installations comply with Uptime Institute (Tier III/IV), TIA-942, and local Indonesian standards (SNI/PUIL). Risk Management: Proactively identify technical risks or site constraints and implement mitigation strategies to prevent project delays. Progress Reporting: Provide regular technical reports to the Project Director and stakeholders regarding MEP milestones, budget utilization, and HSE compliance. Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university. Experience: Minimum 8–10 years of experience in MEP project management; at least 3–5 years of specific experience in Data Center projects (Hyperscale or Colocation). Technical Skills: Deep understanding of redundant power systems, precision cooling, and integrated building management systems; Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), and project scheduling tools (MS Project or Primavera P6). Soft Skills: Strong leadership, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment. Communication: Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken). Condition: Currently residing in or willing to be based in Jakarta and able to join immediately (ASAP).
