Essential Oil Trader (Business Development)

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Essential Oil Trader (Business Development) for our Trading Division located in BSD, Tangerang. Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new trading and business development opportunities in the essential oil and commodity markets (Patchouli and Citronella Oil preferred). The role will encompass executing trading strategies, analyzing market trends, fostering relationships with suppliers and clients, and ensuring efficient trade operations while staying aligned with company goals.

Qualifications Develop and expand the Essential Oil business in both Export and Local markets (Patchouli and Citronella oil preferred) Seek out major clients and build long-term working relationships with key buyers in the fragrance, cosmetic, and chemical industries Analyze the competitive environment and consumer trends to identify emerging markets and new business opportunities Strong analytical and decision-making skills for market trend analysis and business strategy development Formulate and execute sales plans, including accurate sales forecasting Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and contribute to a goal-oriented team

Requirements 3-5+ years experience in physical commodity trading (Essential oils - Patchouli and Citronella oil preferred) An existing network of suppliers or B2B customers in the aromatherapy, cosmetic, or food industries Proven track record in international business development Proficiency in English Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, Chemical, or related fields
