Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Environment Specialist

to join our site operations team. In this role, you will be the key person responsible for ensuring that our mining activities strictly adhere to environmental regulations and sustainability standards. You will manage daily environmental programs, from waste management to land reclamation, and serve as the main liaison with government environmental agencies.

Key Responsibilities

Environmental Operations & Monitoring:

Manage and execute daily site environmental programs, including the monitoring and maintenance of sediment ponds, conducting regular mine water sampling, and recording daily rainfall data.

Reclamation & Waste Management:

Manage the plant nursery to ensure a steady supply of vegetation for reclamation purposes. Execute comprehensive land reclamation programs, manage Hazardous and Toxic Waste (Limbah B3), and implement proactive environmental pollution prevention initiatives.

Compliance & Reporting:

Prepare, compile, and submit mandatory periodic environmental reports accurately and timely. This includes mine water quality reports, RKL-RPL (Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan) reports, and regular environmental management reports to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (Minerba) and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK).

Stakeholder Coordination:

Maintain positive relationships and seamless coordination with relevant government authorities, including the Regency and Provincial Environmental Agencies (DLH) as well as the central KLHK.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Forestry, or a closely related discipline.

Experience:

Minimum of 3–5 years of proven, full‑time experience as an Environmental Specialist, Environmental Engineer, or similar role specifically within the Mining industry.

Knowledge & Certification:

In-depth understanding of Indonesian environmental laws, Minerba regulations, and RKL-RPL implementation. Possessing professional certifications such as

POP

(Pengawas Operasional Pertama) or

Certified B3 Waste Manager

(Sertifikasi Pengelolaan Limbah B3) is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in environmental data analysis (water quality, sediment control, etc.) and experienced in operating environmental measurement tools.

Soft Skills:

Exceptional report‑writing skills, strong analytical thinking, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with external government stakeholders and internal operations teams.

Physical Fitness:

Medically fit to work in a remote mining environment and capable of conducting intensive daily field inspections.

Priority Preference:

Candidates domiciled in Subaim, Wasile, Halmahera Timur, Ternate, Maluku Utara are highly prioritized for this position.

Work Location Site Subaim, Halmahera Timur (Roster Schedule) 10 weeks on‑site : 2 weeks off‑duty
