Tax and Compliance Supervisor

at our office in Bali. This position is central to our firm’s commitment to regulatory excellence and strategic client service.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, review, and finalize all complex tax filings (Corporate Income Tax, Individual Income Tax, VAT, etc.), ensuring accuracy and timely submission that meets regulatory deadlines.

Take ownership of the compliance process, meticulously ensuring all tax activities and client documentation strictly adhere to the latest Indonesian tax legislation and rulings.

Work closely with the Tax Supervisor to implement high‑level strategic tax planning and communicate practical, compliant advice to clients.

Lead, train, and manage the daily workflow of 1‑2 junior tax staff, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the delivery of high‑quality work output.

Serve as a technical resource for the team, conducting rigorous research on evolving tax laws to support defensible tax positions.

Establish and maintain robust internal processes for documentation and record‑keeping to ensure readiness for external audits and regulatory reviews.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Taxation, Accounting, or a relevant financial field.

A minimum of

5 years

of progressive experience in taxation, with a clear track record in compliance management and supervision, preferably within a Tax Consulting environment.

Possession of the Indonesian tax certifications,

Brevet A/B minimum . Candidates holding Brevet C will be given priority consideration.

Extensive and current technical command of the full scope of Indonesian taxation (PPh, PPN, local taxes).

Proven capability in team leadership, workload management, and personnel mentorship.

Exceptional professional communication skills, with

full working fluency in English

(both written and verbal) is essential for research and high‑level client communication.

Full‑time, onsite position based at the Viskal Office in Denpasar, Bali.
