Senior AI / MLOps Engineer (Contract)

Signify is working with a global, product-led tech company looking for a Senior AI / MLOps Engineer to help scale and productionise machine learning and GenAI systems across consumer and business-facing platforms. This is a hands-on role focused on building robust ML infrastructure, taking models from prototype to production, and improving deployment, monitoring, and cost efficiency at scale.

Location - Europe (Remote / EU time zones) Rate - €450 + a day Length - 6-12 Months

Key responsibilities: Build and maintain production-grade ML & GenAI pipelines (CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, retraining) Support the industrialisation of ML use cases from experimentation to live environments Improve performance, reliability, observability, and cost control of AI systems Define and promote MLOps best practices (versioning, testing, data lineage, monitoring) Contribute to the evolution of an internal AI/ML platform (real-time & batch inference, model registry, etc.)

Required experience: 6+ years in MLOps / ML Engineering / AI DevOps Strong Python in production environments Cloud (AWS preferred), Docker & Kubernetes Experience with ML platforms/tools (MLflow, SageMaker, Kubeflow, Airflow, Spark, etc.) Solid understanding of the full ML lifecycle, including monitoring and drift detection Exposure to GenAI / LLM-based systems is highly desirable
