Junior Accountant (Project Based)

Overview

Our client is hiring for Junior Accountant (Outsourced – 6-Month Contract). Location: Gatot Subroto, Jakarta. Work Arrangement: On-site (WFO). Our client is looking for a Junior Accountant to support their finance operations under a 6-month outsourced assignment. This role is ideal for candidates with early career experience in accounting, exposure to import-related companies, and the ability to communicate in English—especially through email. Key Responsibilities

Handle daily accounting transactions, including AR/AP and routine bookkeeping. Perform bank reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial data and documentation. Support monthly closing and preparation of basic financial reports. Conduct simple financial analysis as required. Understand the import process flow (for recording and terminology purposes). Coordinate with internal teams and external parties using English-based email communication. Maintain organized, accurate, and compliant financial records. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university. 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably in import or distribution companies. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Intermediate English communication skills (email and basic coordination). Familiarity with Xero is an advantage. Detail-oriented, organized, able to work independently, and a fast learner. Comfortable working with deadlines and structured processes. Other Notices
