Job Purpose
The Assistant SC Finance Manager supports the Supply Chain Finance function by driving financial discipline across Logistics, Business Waste, and Supply Chain Overhead. The role ensures that cost structures are optimized, risks are mitigated, and opportunities for efficiency are identified and implemented. By partnering with cross‑functional teams, this position enables Ice Cream Indonesia to meet financial goals, strengthen profitability, and enhance operational resilience.
Mission
Enable the business to achieve financial targets through accurate forecasting, cost control, and performance monitoring.
Proactively identify opportunities to reduce waste, optimize logistics, and streamline overhead spending.
Implement solutions that enhance financial performance, ensuring sustainable growth and competitiveness in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis:
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for logistics, waste management, and supply chain overhead; provide insights to leadership on cost drivers and financial risks.
Cost Optimization:
Monitor logistics expenses, warehouse costs, and distribution efficiency; identify opportunities to reduce business waste and improve resource utilization.
Performance Monitoring:
Track KPIs related to supply chain financial performance; ensure timely reporting and actionable insights for decision‑making.
Business Partnering:
Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and procurement teams to align financial strategies with operational goals; provide financial guidance to support strategic initiatives and projects.
Risk Management:
Assess financial risks in logistics and supply chain operations; recommend mitigation strategies to safeguard profitability.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive initiatives to reduce overhead costs and improve efficiency; champion digital tools and analytics to enhance financial visibility and control.
Compliance & Governance:
Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies and local regulations; maintain strong internal controls across supply chain finance processes.
Relevant Experience
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in supply chain/operations finance (CPG experience preferred).
Strong understanding of financial analysis & reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Financial acumen: Strong understanding of P&L, cost structures, and supply chain finance.
Analytical capability: Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into actions.
Process optimization: Knowledge of logistics, waste reduction, and overhead management to drive efficiency.

As publicly announced, it is envisaged that Unilever will internally separate its Ice Cream business by July 2025, at which point this role will transfer to the new Ice Cream company.
