Business Process Manager
Role Summary
The Business Process Manager is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and controlling end-to-end business processes within the fuel retail organization to ensure effectiveness, efficiency, standardization, control, regulatory compliance, and alignment with the Company’s business strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Design & Standardization
Conduct end-to-end business process mapping (core & support processes), covering:
Fuel & non-fuel retail operations
Fuel supply chain & logistics
Maintenance & asset management
Finance, procurement, HR, IT, and marketing
Develop and update SOPs, Work Instructions (WI), flowcharts, and RACI matrices
Define process standards, internal controls, and key control points
Ensure alignment with Company policies, Delegation of Authority (DoA), and organizational structure
Business Process Improvement (BPI)
Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, risks, and process waste
Lead process improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
Conduct as-is vs. to-be process analysis and assess business impact
Monitor post-implementation process effectiveness
Manage change management initiatives
Governance, Risk & Compliance
Ensure compliance with regulations related to gas station operations, HSSE/K3, and finance
Integrate internal controls into business processes
Support internal & external audits
Manage process risk register
System Integration & Digitalization
Collaborate with IT to translate business processes into systems (ERP, POS, CRM, HRIS)
Ensure alignment between processes and company systems
Develop business requirements and user acceptance criteria
Support digitalization and automation initiatives
Socialization, Implementation & Monitoring
Communicate SOPs and process updates across all units
Provide training and implementation support
Monitor process compliance at Head Office and site level
Prepare business process performance reports for Management
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or related field
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Business Process Management / Continuous Improvement
Experience in retail, fuel retail, FMCG, or multi-site operations is preferred
Strong knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma / process improvement methodologies
Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working with ERP and enterprise systems
