Job Summary
Legal Operations & Compliance (Group Company)
Key Responsibilities
Conducting review, drafting, and negotiation of commercial contracts, including charter parties, MoUs, LOIs, supply/sales contracts and other operational supporting agreements.
Ensuring that legal documentation standards are consistently applied throughout all companies within the group.
Providing legal opinions on operational and commercial legal issues.
Legal team supervision (monitoring team performance, assigning tasks, and developing team competencies).
Establishing SOPs and legal workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy of work processes.
Handling and overseeing dispute resolution (litigation and non‑litigation), including maritime/commercial disputes, civil matters and administrative cases.
Providing dispute resolution strategies, including early warning systems to minimize potential legal risks.
Preparing legal memorandums and formal recommendations for the Board of Directors (BOD) and Board of Commissioners (BOC).
Coordinating with external law firms, government agencies and other stakeholders throughout the dispute resolution process.
Managing all legal aspects of the projects, from feasibility studies, EPC contracts, permitting to project implementation compliance.
Ensuring risk mitigation and project legal documentation comply with oil & gas, maritime and infrastructure regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Law Major.
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field, preferably Assistant Manager specialised in law/legal services or equivalent.
Hold an advocate licence is a plus.
Familiar in law/legal knowledge related with corporate law, contract drafting, contract management and negotiations, licensing, also preferably having an experience in litigation.
Solid knowledge of all relevant local laws and regulations and proven experience liaising with relevant local regulatory institutions.
Ability to work on a broad subject of legal matters and adjust to an innovative and dynamic environment.
Exceptional working attitude like fast response and fast working pace while maintaining quality of working result, having ability to plan, organise and work under pressure.
Strong interpersonal skills and team‑first attitude.
