Logistic & Procurement Manager (Shipping Company)

Responsibilities

Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain, procurement, and logistics strategies aligned with business goals. Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contracting to secure the best value, quality, and delivery terms. Oversee freight forwarding, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation to ensure timely distribution. Identify supply risks, establish contingency plans, and ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and internal safety standards. Define KPIs, manage budgets, and analyze data to improve processes, reduce costs, and resolve bottlenecks. Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing team in a collaborative environment. Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience in senior procurement, supply chain, and logistics roles, often requiring 5+ years preferably Shipping Company/Maritime Industry Strong knowledge of marine equipment, vessel spare parts, services, and logistics Good understanding of export–import processes , including shipping documentation and customs procedures Strong communication with english Experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost control Familiar with coordinating deliveries to vessels, shipyards, and offshore locations Good communication, negotiation, and leadership skills PT Bahtera Bumi Raya Jakarta, ID Purchasing Manager South Jakarta, Jakarta, ID
