About the Role Our client is seeking a

detail-oriented and proactive Payment Officer

to join their finance team and lead the operational excellence of their

loan repayment debit process . In this role, you will ensure the seamless execution of payment procedures, mitigate financial risks, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Administer and oversee

payment/debit transactions

related to loan repayments.

Maintain accurate and organised records of

payment transactions, policy documentation , and compliance files.

Serve as the

liaison

between internal teams (Finance, Product, Customer Service) and external vendors (e.g., banks, payment gateways).

Identify, analyse, and mitigate

risks associated with payment operations .

Generate and present

regular reports

on payment trends, failures, and compliance issues to senior management.

Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance

efficiency, accuracy, and security

of existing payment workflows.

Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in

process automation and operational scalability .

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in

Finance, Accounting, Business Administration , or a related field.

Minimum 2 years

of experience in payment operations, financial services, or a similar field.

Strong grasp of

financial processes, compliance , and risk management best practices.

Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia , with excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Proficient in

Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

(pivot tables, vlookup, data validation, etc.).

Familiarity with

project management tools

like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms is a plus.

Ability to adapt and work independently in a

dynamic, high-growth

environment.

Customer-oriented, with strong

problem-solving skills .

Willingness to work

flexible shifts , including potential overnight schedules.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with

banking operations , fintech, or financial services environments.

Experience with

financial or accounting software .

Certifications

in financial management, payment operations, or risk assessment are a strong plus.
