Location: LATAM - Remote / Working Hours: 7am - 4pm PST

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Localization Quality Assurance Lead with highly developed Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) and team management skills to join our Globalization & Localization Quality Assurance (GLQA) Testing team during the PST time zone.

In this role, the successful candidate will primarily focus on overseeing LQA Testing projects, leading and supporting team members, managing reporting and data insights, and providing strategic support and insights to our GLQA Operations Manager. The ideal candidate has excellent project execution skills, deep knowledge of localization QA (L10n QA) processes, and a proactive mindset with a clear understanding of success in a client/vendor environment.

Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with the LQA Leads during product test cycles, providing guidance, support, and subject-matter expertise Manage and mentor LQA team members, including onboarding, performance oversight, coaching, skills development, and promoting a positive, collaborative team culture Work closely with the GLQA Operations Manager and broader GLQA team to understand and meet client needs while maintaining industry high level of client satisfaction Manage end-to-end LQA projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting quality standardsโ€”working independently and within a small team to achieve client goals Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address any issues that may impact project delivery or quality Support the Globalization Lead on program-level initiatives, including process improvements, standardization, scalability, and thought-leadership contributions Partner closely with the GLQA Operations Manager to prepare and contribute to client Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), including metrics, insights, trends, and recommendations for continuous improvement Monitor project performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in LQA project and program management, and apply them to enhance project outcomes

Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing LQA projects Experience in using G11n/Loc & Authoring tools Experience with CMS software Strong knowledge of LQA and localization software tools, translation management systems, and industry-standard localization workflows Strong knowledge of internationalization and localization best practices, including cultural adaptation and linguistic quality assurance Strong project management skills, with proficiency in LQA project management methodologies, tools, and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, both internally and externally Experience in program management or providing strategic support to program managers Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong knowledge of internationalization and localization best practices, including cultural adaptation and linguistic quality assurance Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to overcome challenges and ensure project success Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus Experience with Jira or a similar ticketing platform
