Driver cum General Worker

Responsibilities

Drive staff to training institutes, medical check‑ups (e.g., X‑rays), external meetings, and bank visits. Ensure all transport services are carried out safely, punctually, and in a professional manner.

Maintain records of trips and schedules as assigned by the department.

Purchase essential items for the Home, including kitchen goods (eggs, dry items), postage stamps, or supplies for facility maintenance. Ensure safe handling and proper storage of items during and after transport.

Collect food donations and goods from regular community partners, including:

Sunshine Bakeries / Newstart Health Food

Bread and snacks from Simei, Tampines, Bedok, and other locations

Coordinate with store staff for unloading and documentation of donations.

Collect medication or supplies from healthcare facilities such as Changi General Hospital, Hougang Polyclinic, IMH, and others as required. Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of medical items to the Home’s nursing team.

Maintain cleanliness of all Home‑owned vehicles (ambulance, van, lorry). Ensure all vehicles are sent for timely servicing and comply with safety and roadworthiness standards.

Assist in the store, kitchen, or other departments when manpower is required. Support loading, unloading, stock movement, and simple facility upkeep as needed.

Carry out other assignments given by the Department Head or Home management, including support for events, emergencies, or cross‑department tasks.
